More cemeteries are going green

More cemeteries in the United States are going green, including many New York state cemeteries in the Rochester area. However, green burials aren’t a new trend.

Green burials don’t use embalming chemicals and the caskets are made of biodegradable materials, such as pine caskets and wicker baskets.
