Cremation rates on the rise, forcing cemeteries and funeral homes to adapt

The rise in cremation rates means that funeral homes and cemeteries need to adapt to this change in the funeral profession.

According to the National Funeral Directors Association, more people are choosing cremation over burial. The 2018 cremation rate is more than 50% and is expected to increase to 80% by 2035.
