Could a Soil-Based Alternative to Burial and Cremation Become a Reality?

Recompose is an alternative end-of-life arrangement idea that may soon become a reality. The process would turn human remains into soil to nourish trees and plants. The researchers have been doing testing at Washington State University and believe the first Recompose facility could open as soon as 2020.
