Impact of the Opioid Epidemic on the Funeral Profession

With more and more deaths caused by opioid overdoses, the National Funeral Directors Association is encouraging funeral homes to be prepared. They suggest that funeral homes should stock up not only on grief resources for families impacted by an opioid overdose but also on overdose reversal drugs in case their staff comes in contact with it when preparing the body.
