Aquamation: Alternative End-Of-Life Arrangement Comes to Portland

Now, those who live in Portland, Oregon can choose aquamation as their end-of-life arrangement. To put it simply, aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis, is the process of dissolving the body using an alkaline chemical solution. Oregon was one of the first states to allow aquamation.
